Dolphin Lagoon Opening

June 16th 2012, 26°C, the sun is shining, ideal weather for the opening of the Dolphin Lagoon at Aquaparc Safari!

My encounter with the Trahan family, one of the first families to enjoy the Dolphin Lagoon:
Even if their grandparents have a pool, Théo, 4 years old and Sammy, 5 years old, couldn't wait to come play in the water games at Parc Safari.
               
Grandma Lucie wanted to spoil her grandkids while they were visiting her. What better way than to take them to Parc Safari? ‘'We've been coming here every year since the opening in 1972'' tells me Mrs. Trahan. Impressed by Parc Safari's evolution over the last 40 years, she's very happy an aquatic sector has been added. ‘'We like to keep them busy when they come visit.» she says. After a dip in the kiddy pool, Théo rushes over to try the « big kids » slides, trying to be brave in front of his big brother. ‘'The red one is the fastest!'' he tells me. After multiple trips down the slides, it's time for the water games. Sammy carefully studies how the games work, in order to determine the best spot to get splashed. After a busy hour playing in the water, it's snack time. But grandma reassures Théo and Sammy, all wrapped-up in their towel, that they will come back afterwards and that she might even join them to cool off!

Aquaparc Safari is five aquatic zones, with over 60 water games, including a tube ride, water slides and paddling pools that everyone will enjoy!
