DEER TRAIL

The fallow deer are waiting for you on a magical trail

Fallow deer are medium-sized and easily recognizable by their voluminous antlers. Four coat colors occur in herds, but this is due to human selection of natural variations. In general, fallow deer’ coats are tawny and dotted with white spots. They darken and thicken in winter. In the wild, the spots on tawny coats disappear in winter, while they persist throughout the year blond coats, and are almost never visible on the black and white coats. All have a dark mid-dorsal line.

Fallow deer have a highly developed sense of smell that will allow them to spot any presence from very far away. Their very sensitive hearing allows them to hear the slightest footsteps or small branches breaking from 80-100 meters away. They have very good daytime vision but their night vision is only average.

The Deer Trail is designed to offer you an immersive experience in the forest. You will pet and feed beautiful fallow deer along this magical trail.
